Hospitality spaces have different requirements depending on their use: reception areas, restaurants and rooms each call for specific solutions — from acoustic comfort to flexible space structuring, right up to controlling light and privacy.

Area by area

Hotel — corridors: mainly carpets, so that guests' arrival (luggage pulled across the floor) is not heard by the other guests.

Hotel — rooms: all kinds of floor solutions — parquet, resilient & design coverings, but also carpet tiles exchangeable at regular intervals. Above all removable Loose Lay floors: replacing a damaged plank is very easy.

Restaurant: floors under very high stress — chairs, tables, very high foot traffic. Ideal solutions such as Amtico, with unlimited, very special designs, easy to maintain and highly resistant. Our resilient floors are softer than tiles, which cushions each step and is good for the joints.

Requirements to meet — hotels and restaurants

• Floors resistant to intense, continuous traffic, use classes 33/34, even 43.
• Resistant to stains, grease and professional cleaning products.
• Anti-slip floors in professional kitchens and wet areas, certified R10/R11.
• Acoustic and thermal comfort for the rooms (carpets, curtains, acoustic elements); acoustic elements on walls, ceilings or free-standing, decorative elements — particularly interesting in restaurants, with printed acoustic panels possible.
• Made-to-measure prestige rugs for entrance halls and corridors.
• Blackout blinds and curtains for the rooms, to guarantee quality rest for the guests.
• Divider curtains for event spaces and conference rooms, in thermal fabric for an entrance airlock.
• UV- and moisture-resistant blinds for restaurants, terraces and glass roofs.
• Acoustic solutions for restaurants and common areas — reducing reverberation and improving guests' comfort.
• Made-to-measure insect screens for professional kitchens and rooms with opening windows.
• Planned intervention to minimise disruption to operations — work in phases, wing by wing, at night or off-season depending on the establishment's constraints.
• Coordination with technical management and housekeeping.
